Become a licensed real estate agent in Puerto Rico
Are you interested in becoming a licensed real estate agent in Puerto Rico? If so, there are a few steps you need to take to achieve this goal. First and foremost, you must meet the formal requirements set forth by the Puerto Rico Real Estate Commission.
To become a licensed real estate agent in Puerto Rico, you must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. You must also complete a 60-hour pre-licensing course approved by the Puerto Rico Real Estate Commission. This course covers topics such as real estate law, property management, and real estate finance.
Once you have completed the pre-licensing course, you must pass the Puerto Rico Real Estate Salesperson Exam. This exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions and you must score at least 75% to pass. The exam covers topics such as real estate law, property management, and real estate finance.
After passing the exam, you must submit an application for a real estate salesperson license to the Puerto Rico Real Estate Commission. You will need to provide proof of completion of the pre-licensing course and passing the exam, as well as a background check and fingerprinting.
