Are you interested in becoming a licensed real estate agent in Boston? If so, there are a few steps you need to take to achieve this goal. First and foremost, you must meet the formal requirements set forth by the state of Massachusetts.
To become a licensed real estate agent in Boston, you must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. You must also complete a 40-hour pre-licensing course approved by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons. This course covers topics such as real estate law, finance, and ethics.
Once you have completed the pre-licensing course, you must pass the Massachusetts real estate salesperson exam. This exam consists of 120 multiple-choice questions and covers topics such as property ownership, contracts, and financing. You must score at least 70% to pass the exam.
